First impressions start when an associate arrives on their first day. How a new or lateral associate feels about their new firm is set that first week. If it goes well, the associate will feel they made the right choice, but if it goes poorly the firm is already at a disadvantage. In this webinar, Dr. Sharon Meit Abrahams will share what she has learned from her 25 years of experience design and running orientations. During this session, she’ll discuss what you need to create a welcoming, informative and positive first impression.

  • Organize the planning process.

  • Identify the questions to ask your firm.

  • Examine what communications to convey with the associates.

  • Evaluate the content to include (and what not to include).

  • Use these enhancements for the orientation process.
